JAMMU, Nov 13: In a broad day light incident, Rs 3.5 lakh was stolen from a scooter parked outside a showroom here in Gandhi Nagar area today. As per complaint, lodged with Gandhi Nagar police station, the complainant namely Amit Kumar son of Anil Kumar alleged that he withdrew Rs 3.5 lakh from Jammu and Kashmir bank branch Bahu Plaza and was on way to deposit the same in another branch of Jammu and Kashmir bank when he stopped his scooter at a show room situated in Gandhi Nagar area near a retired DIG's residence and went inside. When he came back, he found the amount missing. Police have lodged a case in this connection and started investigation. |
