| Lawrence School students secure 1st, 2nd position in Inter school competition | | |

JAMMU, Nov 13: Youth Talent Search Forum organized cross stitch competition in which students from ten reputed schools participated in the competition. The purpose of this competition was to judge the basic skills of students in home sciences & related cross stitch activities. Aijaz Hussain of Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi secured first position while Isha Sharma of Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi secured second position today in Inter School cross stitch competition held under the aegis of Youth Talent Search Forum at Mayur Public School. The students were judged on the basis of their knowledge about cross stitch & fineness in stitching. The students demonstrated their stitching & hemming skills with full enthusiasm & impressed the judges. Later Rajni Dutta, Coordinator congratulated the students & said that cross stitching is practical & useful in everyday life for mending broken buttons to hemming of clothes. She appreciated Kinneri for her efforts & guidance to these students. |
