| Two including minor dead as roof collapse in Thatri | | | Et Report
Kishtwar, Nov 13: Two persons including 8 year old girl died after front portion of roof of under construction house collapsed in Nowtas village of Thatri Tehsil in Doda District, sources said. As per police sources, the deceased have been identified namely as Mohammed Sadiq son of Noor Din (23) a labourer and Tanya Banoo (9) daughter of Shah Din Butt both resident of Thatri. As per the locals, some people has assembled on the roof top of the under construction house to witness the Omar Abdullah plane flying over Thatri, the roof paved way to the load resulting into death of two persons including one minor. As soon as the incident took place, the people living nearby rushed to the spot and started rescue operation and recovered the death bodies of both the deceased.
Senior police and officers of district administration already present in the area in connection with Omar Abdullah visit to Dunadi of Kishtwar District to attend inauguration ceremony of 48 MW Lower Kalni Power Project also rush to the spot. The bodies of deceased were shifted to hospital and after conducting of the autopsy, the bodies were handed over to the family members for last rites. |
