| Child hit by Police officer's vehicle | | Police yet to register FIR | | ET Report
Kishtwar, Nov 13: i n a tragic incident at, a Nursery class student identified as Saqib Hussain son of Allah Rakha resident of Hullar Kishtwar got injured when a speedy vehicle driven by a police Inspector hit him at busy Shaheedi road Kishtwar.
As per the details, a speeding Alto vehicle without any number plate driven by a police Inspector hit the boy who was walking on the road after coming out of his school.Allah Rakha father of the injured boy said that the incident took place minutes before his brother came to pick up the child. He said that after hitting the boy, the police officer along with other police personnel on duty beat his brother who protested against the police officer for hitting the child when he saw Saqib lying in pool of blood. He said that they immediately rushed the boy to District Hospital Kishtwar where doctor conducted X-Ray and other test of his minor son. He said that his son had received head injury. He said that police must initiate action against the accused police officer in accordance with law. However police has yet to register an FIR in this regard and are trying to shield the police officers. The reports also added that police is pursuing compromise formula to sought to the issue. |
