| President LYC, conducts extensive tour to Rajouri | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Nov 21: Lok SabhaYouth congress leader and President LYC Jammu Poonch Satish Sharma conducted an extensive tour of District Rajouri including Sunderbani, Nowshera, Rajouri, Badoon, Kot Dhada (Darhal), Loorkote (Kalakote which concluded here today. During this tour he met with different delegations of people and addressed public meetings. While addressing group of youth at Sunderbani Satish Sharma demanded a foolproof protection mechanism for the children in Rajouri and Poonch. While expressing his shock and anguishes over the abduction and deaths of innocent, he appealed the police Administration to nab the culprits and to take them to book of law so as to discourage others anti social elements. He also extended his sympathies and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families of children who were killed in Rajouri in recent past.
Further expressing concerns over unemployment, Sharma who was accompnied by PYC leader Er Wasim Khohli,others said that the self employment and skill development schemes run by the Government yet have not reached to the needy and marginalized section of people. He hoped that the forthcoming Railway project and developmental projects ample job opportunities to the local youth and appealed the Government to device schemes with an objective to engage for constructive means. Youth Congress leader also underlined to explore tourism potential to its quantum in twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch which will go a long way in eradicating unemployment problem in the region. He also called upon the youth to play an active role in nation building and cautioned not get illusioned by the false propaganda of the communal forces. |
