Jammu, Nov 21: Nirvana Academy is organizing a musical tribute to Kishore Kumar on 23rd November 2013. Deepak Kumar, a noted singer and musician is performing live along with Sonali Dogra and Nandini Kapoor, versatile female singers on the occasion. Being a diehard fan of Kishore Da, I always follow his singing in learning the music and to become the well known artist of the city of temples Jammu, said Deepak Kumar while addressing the media in a press conference at press club here today. With over 2,500 songs to his name, Kishore made a record by being the only singer to have sung in more than 90 films for a single hero. Kishore sang in 91 films for Rajesh Khanna. Kishore Kumar had a massive body of work, and that included a number of tunes that never got released. As a singer, he was unparalleled, his songs coming as naturally as laughter. His ability to model perfectly, freak off into rhyme and still return to the original tune was exhilarating, Deepak added. It is an evening dedicated to all the Kishore fans with an invitation to join us on 23rd of November at Police Auditorium on 5PM onwards.
