Kishtwar, Nov 22: National Student Union of India (NSUI), held the election of the students of Government Degree College Kishtwar for the post of new president, under the supervision of Subash Gupta, District returning officer Kishtwar.
In the election Kajal Badyal of BA Part 1st was declared as president GDC Kishtwar.
Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori congratulated the president and her team and advised them to work whole heartedly for the welfare of the college and in creating academic ambience in the college.
He assured that all the efforts will be made in the college for the betterment of the student community and for the development of Kishtwar
Later after result was declared, Secretary JKPCC Thakur Jughal Bhandari, Vice President of JKPYCC Varun Singla, District President INTUC Kishtwar Raj Kumar Badyal, Congress Leaders including Mushtaq Hap, Mahinder Singh Parihar, Sharik Saroori, Noor Hussain, Ravi Shan, Former President MAM College Amjad Batt, Former state General Secretary NSUI Wassim Sajjad, Former district President NSUI Kishtwar Saqib Lone, Former Vice President NSUI Kishtwar Randeep Thakur, Youth Congress Leader Suman Partap and others felicitated newly elected team of NSUI GDC Kishtwar.
Congress leaders expressed hope that newly NSUI team will leave no stone unturned in projecting the genuine demands of the students and will work for strengthening of the party.
Meanwhile, Principal of the College, Dr Shafqat Rafiqui congratulated the newly elected body of student representatives and assured them every kind of help for the smooth functioning of the college.Newly elected team of NSUI GDC Kishtwar comprises of President Kajal Badyal, Vice President Imtiyaz Tapal, General Secretaries including Ahmar Sehzad, Varsha Wazir,Touseef Iqbal, Irfan Ahmed, Amir Mir, Tariq Mir, Butt Irfan, Fayaz Ahmed, Amir Raza Malik, Mubasshar Ahmed, Babar Ahmed, Bilal Ahmed, Fayaz Ahmed, Amir Iqbal, Noor Hussain and others. Members of NSUI from GDC Kishtwar are Mohd Nawaz, Abid Hussain, Sumaya Banoo, Taranum, Saima Tabassum, Asiya Banoo, Humaira Kousar, Ashu Sen, Abid Hussain and Suhail Ahmed. |
