Bhaderwah, Nov 22: Bhaderwah Development Forum (BDF), working for development of the Chenab basin has hailed JU for appointing renowned geologist Prof. GM Bhat as Rector Bahderwah Campus. In a statement issued here today, the president of the Forum Abdul Hafiz Khateeb termed the appointment of Prof. Bhat as a welcome step and hoped that he would make the campus one of the premier Institute of this country.
Demanding the starting of BEd course at Bhaderwah Campus, BDF President said that for the last so many years the people of this region have been demanding starting of B-Ed course in the campus, but till date nothing was done to fulfill the demand.
"We are hopeful that the Rector Bhaderwah Campus will take up the issue of BEd with the Vice Chancellor so that the course can be started from next session," he said adding further that they also appealed Vice Chancellor Jammu University to start the BEd course without any delay at Bhaderwah Campus. |
