| BVP organizes 'Bharat Ko Jano' quiz competition | | |

Jammu Nov 22: Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) Swami Vivekanand Branch Gandhi Nagar today organized a quiz competition "Bharat Ko Jano" at Luthra Academy School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu in which about 10 schools from Gandhinagar participated.
Dr Subash Gupta, Retd Principal Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion while Pritpal Singh Principal of the host school marked his presence as the guest of the honour.
As per spokesperson of BVP, the competition was organized in two categories viz. Junior (6th to 8th classes) and senior (9th & 10th classes). At the onset of occasion Ved Parkash Gupta President BVP Gandhianagr presented welcome address while Smt Amita Sharma convener briefed the participants about the rules and regulations of the quiz competition.
A panel of jury declared Dogra Hr Secondary Shastri Nagar, Luthra Academy School Last Morh Gandhi Nagar and S.D. Tara Puri High School Gandhi Nagar as top three winners respectively in Junior category whereas in Senior Category the three top rankers were S D Tara Puri High School Gandhi Nagar, Poplular Model Academy Nanak Nagar, and Shiksha Niketan High School Gandhi Nagar respectively.
In the end Dr Santosh Gupta National Convener spoke about the activities of the Bharat Vikas Parishad while quiz programme was conducted by Arun Sharma State President BVP.
Among others present on the occasion included S N Sharma, Vijay Sharma, V K Phoa, D D Gupta, M L Vaid and Surinder Gupta.
