| Pak breaches ceasefire again, army jawan injured | | | Et Report Rajouri, Nov 22: Pakistan army after a gap of about almost a fortnight today targeted forward Indian posts in Ghambir sector in Rajouri district and during the breach of ceasefire one one Havaldar of 20 JAT Regiment got injured in firing across the border. According to sources Pakistan army opened unprovoked firing to facilitate infiltration of a group of suspected ultras when infiltrators failed to sneak into Indian side and were retrieved to other side again by alert troops. The unprovoked firing from Pakistan troops started at about 7:00 am and continued for more than two hours along Line of Control (LoC) in Ghambhir sector Here it needs to mention that after prime ministers of both the Indian and Pakistan met in USA followed by Commandant level flag meeting of at Octrai Post Sutchegarh R S Pura the Pakistan has assured Indian side to maintain peace on Indo-Pak borders which got flared up after the killing of 5 Indian soldiers in the month of August and continued till the first week of November. Meanwhile in a similar peace initiative i.e. it was also decided to hold DGMO level meeting and response from the Pakistan's side still is awaited. |
