Jammu, Nov 22 : High Court Bar Association on Friday accorded warm farewell to Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir for his transfer and elevation as Acting Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court at High Court Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu. Bouquets and a momento was presented to Justice Mansoor Ahmed Mir by Bar Association. Justice Dheeraj Singh Thakur, Justice Virender Singh, Justice Tashi Rabastan, President Bar Association Bhardwaj, besides worthy Judges of Jammu High Court as well as District Court graced the occasion. Hon'ble Chief Justice M M Kumar addressed the gathering and brought to light the various contributions of Hon'ble Justice Mansoor Ahmed Mir, stating he will be missed dearly. The contribution of Justice Mir was hailed and he was wished a prosperous future. Earlier, President Bar Association Jammu Bhardwaj welcome all the dignitaries and also spoke on the occasion.Vice President J&K High Court Bar Association Sindhu Sharma presented vote of thanks. |
