JAMMU, Dec 23: Sailing on superb performance from the duo of DB Ravi Teja and GH Vihari, Hyderabad batted confidently against Jammu and Kashmir to post 314 runs for the loss of four wickets in 84 overs play at the end of day-two play in the Ranji Trophy Group-C tie at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here today. Earlier, after winning the toss and elected to field, J&K bowlers could not do well and allowed the visiting batsmen raise a competitive total. In fact, the fourth wicket partnership between DB Ravi Teja and GH Vihari was turning point for the Hyderabad innings. Both together added 203 runs before Vihari was stumped off slow bowler Bandeep at a score of 312. However, by then, Vihari had already completed his century and was batting at 109. When the stumps were drawn, DB Ravi Teja was batting confidently at 153 made with the help of 17 boundaries and two sixes along with AJ Shinde (four). From J&K, Samiullah Beigh, Ram Dayal and Bandeep Singh shared the wickets while one of the batsmen run out while initiating a crucial single.
