Jammu, Dec 23: NSS unit of Sacred Heart College of Education Paloura, organized a cleanliness drive to create awareness among people about the clean surroundings.
Municipal Commissioner, Kiran Wattal along with MD of SHCE Hari Singh Chib and Principal of the College, Dr. K.K. Tiwari formally inaugurated the drive in which atleast 60 NSS volunteers participated enthusiastically.Program Officer NSS Prof Sheetal Khajuria coordinated the drive which started from college campus to adjoining areas of the college. Volunteers cleaned up streets, Public Park and nallah near the college. They also made locals aware about the healthy living and the benefits of healthy environment. Municipal Commissioner appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers. Prof Neha Sharma and Prof Jyoti Jamwal also joined in drive actively. |
