| Jammu, Dec 23 : A felicitation function was organised by Duggar Vikas Manch, an NGO "Duggar Samman-2013" to felicitate the children of Duggar Desh who have excelled in their respective fields at National Level and have become a role model for the younger generation. Governor of the state, N N Vohra was the Chief Guest on the occasion to encourage these upcoming young buddies who have brought laurels to the J&K State and specially to the Duggar Desh, as all of them belonged to the region which is predominantly a region dominated by Dogra community irrespective of their any religious belief. ADGP (Retd) Choudhary Masud Ahmad, Former V C of BGSBS University, Rajouri, Lt Gen (Retd) LP Sadhotra, Major General (Retd) Shamsher Singh, IGP (Retd) C L Banal & IGP (Retd) SS Bijral were among other dignitaries who were present in the felicitation programme. Children selected for the Year 2013 for Rashtriya Indian Military College including Master Hirdynsh Ravi Sharma from Hira Nagar, Master Abdul Hanan Zargar, from Doda District and Master Anirudh Singh, from Kathua District were also felicitated. |
