| Protests against VC in JU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 23 : Students of MAM P.G College stage protest demonstration against the V.C of Jammu University under the leadership of Lucky Singh (State Union President). Students of MAM P.G College boycotted their classes and gathered at the main gate of the said college. They shouted slogans against the Jammu Universities like "Jammu University Hay Hay, "Students Se Khilwar Band Karo Band Karo".
While addressing the protest Students Union President S. Lucky Singh told that Jammu University is not so serious towards the future of students because he alleged that BJP gave band call before two days but the Jammu University authorities didn't take any action in favour of students because university took no more decision of postponed or cancel the B.A exams.
He further added that due to band call from BJP all the transport stop its functioning and that directly effect the students because many more students cannot reached their examination centres.
Students of the said college warned the V.C of Jammu University that is the exam of B.A should not be cancelled or postponed serious results should be seen in the shape of strong protests. |
