| Employees stage protest against BDO Billawar | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Dec 23 : Demanding punishment for BDO Billawar, employees of Block Development Office (BDO) Billawar today staged a protest demonstration under the aegis of Village Level Workers Association and Rural Development Employees Federation at Kathua.
The protesters have appealed Chief Minister and Rural Minister Ali Mohamad Sagar to book the BDO, for carrying out corrupt and criminal practices according to which he demand 10% commission on every project.
Under the leadership of president of the Federation OD Atari, protesters were raising slogans against BDO.
They accused BDO of threatening the employees and showed the police power to use and hatching conspiracies against them, just to achieve his goal by making illegal money through corruption.
"This cruel and corrupt behavior of this BDO cannot be tolerated by the employees and we would take the issue across Jammu province", they said and also submitted a memorandum of demands to ACD Kathua. |
