Jammu, Dec 23 : State Bank of India, Rehari Colony, Jammu celebrated Apna Diwas(Silver Jubilee Year) by organizing impressive and colourful programme in the premises of Government Middle School Kot Jammu on Monday which was attended by the school staff, students, parents and villagers of the surrounding areas. B.L Sharma, Zonal Education Officer, who was the Chief Guest delivered speech over the suitable career of the blooming buds. Later, Yashpal Bhagat, Chief Manager, SBI Rehari Colony expressed his sincere thanks to the school management for organizing a beautiful function. He expressed that the SBI always ahead in service of the society and particularly to the weaker section of the society. In this connection, SBI distributed school uniform sweaters among the deserving students belong to the Below Poverty Line families under bank's community service banking programme. On the occasion O.P Gupta, Bank Counseller, also delivered the inspirational speech to the gathering especially to the students to make their career in different fields and also ensure them that bank will support their genuine causes. At the culmination, Neelam Bhagat, Head Mistress of the school expressed thanks and gratitude to the bank management. She also appreciated the initiative taken by the SBI for the community. |
