| Need basis employee of PDD loses leg in electric shock | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 9: A need basis employee of Power Development Department (PDD) lost one of his legs when he received a severe electric shock while he was rectifying some snag over an electric pole at Chack Malla area near Jourian Town.
The victim has been identified as Vijay Kumar (32) son of Partaap Chand of Akhnoor.
Police said that Vijay was busy in rectifying some technical snag over an electric pole and accidentally the electricity supply was restored resulting severe electric shock to him.
Police further said that Vijay lost one of his legs in the electric shock and in being under treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for treatment. |
