| Video on beheading of Indian soldier creates national storm | | | Asif Iqbal Naik
Jammu, Jan 9: A video clip showing beheading of an Indian soldier by Pakistan backed militants has created a national storm. The video came to fore on the first anniversary of the beheading of two Indian soldiers in Poonch sector. The political parties as well as the people have questioned the integrity of the government of India over their soft stand on terror and foreign policy towards Pakistan. The people also question the government for sitting over the video since last over 9 months after the same was recovered from the possession of a LeT militant Abdul Rashid alias Abdullah presently in Doda police custody. Early Times was the first newspaper to report about the clip in the month of June last year soon after the arrest of encounter specialist cop Shiv Krishan Sharma on 4th of June 2013 by Doda police. As per the details available with "Early Times" Doda police recovered the clip from the possession of Lashkar militant Abdul Rashid alias Abdullah who was arrested by the Doda police on 28th April last year in connection with grenade blast attack on police station Thatri in which encounter specialist cop Shiv Krishan Sharma was made co-accused by the Doda police. The sources said that Abdullah who surrendered before Sonu in the year 2010 was in constant touch with his cousin in Pakistan namely Khubar who happens to be a Lashkar Commander working on launching paid in POK. They said that it was Abdullah who showed this video to encounter specialist Sonu and in return the cop promised him a big reward for helping him (Sonu) in eliminating the militant group involved behind beheading of Indian soldiers, but the plan prepared by the Sonu was derailed due to internal rivalry and anger among senior Doda police officers. It is pertinent to mention here that encounter specialist cop presently in judicial custody has eliminated over 300 militants including top rank Lashkar, HM & HUJI militants and also loses his one eye and received bullet injuries in his both legs while fighting the militants in Doda region during his 15 year long carrier in police. |
