Jammu, Jan 9: Senior Congress leader and President Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Professor Saif-ud-Din Soz today said that Aam Admi Party leader Prashant Bushan who sparked a massive controversy in the country over the issue of demanding referendum over the withdrawal of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) from the State of Jammu and Kashmir, lacks information.
While talking to "Early Times" Professor Soz said that there is turmoil within the AAP party itself over the statement issued by the Bushan seeking referendum on withdrawal of AFSPA and Army from Jammu and Kashmir and added that there is no question that he will agree with his statement. He said that any decision with regard to withdrawal of AFSPA or any other related issue is to be looked into by the State Government and added that the Aam Admi Party leader is not the party to it.
"The Generals know, the people at the borders know and the J&K Government knows, and they will take a decision at an appropriate level--- Prashant Bushan statement is neither here nor there," said Professor Soz.
He said that Prashant Bushan doesn't have any information on the subject and therefore Aam Admi Party has also distanced itself from Bushan's statement. He also condemned attack on Aam Admi Party Office and said that Gundaism is not justified at all by any means.
He said that saffron party Bajrang Dal is infamous throughout India for creating such rowdism. He said that organizations like Bajrang Dal must understand in simple way that such things are not acceptable in the civil society.
