| Bhaderwah toppers Hanan, Umar share their success stories | | | Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, Jan 9: For Hanan Ajaz Batt and Umar Farooq Najar the sky is the limit and their joy knew no bounds when they topped in medical stream in recently announced Class XII examination for winter zone on Wednesday. Hanan Ajaz Batt s/o Ajaz Ahmed Batt r/o Chaka village of Bhaderwah secured 92.2% marks while Umar Farooq Najar s/o Farooq Ahmed Najar r/o Pasri Bhaderwah got 74.6% in medical stream both students of Govt Hr Sec School (Boys) Bhaderwah found themselves "on top of the world" after they found themselves as all-Bhaderwah topper in the Class 12 examinations and felt their dreams to come to true. While talking to this reporter both disclosed their mantra for flying coloured success. "We believe in consistent effort and working hard throughout the year instead on burning midnight oil for a month or two," they said. "We studied for four hours on regular days and six to seven hours on holidays, the duo said while adding, "we had a positive approach towards our initiatives. Hanan says, "I have firm belief that hard work never goes waste. "I worked hard throughout the year and was optimistic that I will top," he says. Aiming high in life, Umar Farooq Najar says, " My aim in life is to become a doctor and started to work to move in that direction. "To be a doctor is not only my dream but my parents also have dreamt the same," says Umar. Najar recalls the moment when he broke the news to his father and says his father with disbelief asked if he was sure to crack the examination The toppers are all all praise for their teachers at Govt Hr Sec School (Boys) Bhaderwah and their parents who motivated them to achieve their goal. Ajit Singh Kotwal Princiapl Govt Hr Sec School (Boys) Bhaderwah said "Students must not stress themselves out while studying only they should study persistently and leisurely to get their goals accomplished. Chief Education Officer (CEO) Doda Mohd Ashraf Rather said that the toppers would be sent to all government schools so that they could share their experience with the students there and give success mantra to new generation of students. |
