| Arms, ammunition recovered in Anantnag | | | Anantnag, Jan 9: In a joint search operation Army along with local police today recovered arms and ammunition from South Kashmir's Achabal Anantnag area.
"Acting on specific input, 19 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Achabal Police today launched a joint search operation in Chawalgam Watrsoo area of Achabal and recovered arms and ammunition from the orchard of Haji Mohd Yousf Ganie, police sources said.
"During the search operation the security forces affected the recovery of arms and ammunition including one AK56, 1 Magzine and 30 rounds, they added. Police spokesman confirmed and said that more recoveries of arms are expected. |
