Rajouri, Jan 9: All J&K +2 Lectures Forum Rajouri today hailed the government decision to promote1512 lecturers as senior lecturers and and 156 senior lecturers as principals in e meeting convened here in Rajouri.
All J&K+2 Lecturers Forum (AJK+2LF) held its meeting at Boys Higher Secondary School under the leadership of AR Dar, District President in which members thanked the Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand , who is also holding the portfolio of Education Minister and others concerned for their land mark decision. The members also were of the view that the long delay in such promotions had created a sort of frustration among the cadre but the decision of government has given a sigh relief to the teaching community for which the role of the forum at state level was also praised.
Meanwhile Abdul Raouf Dar District President speaking on the occasion demanded regularization of in-charge principals, CEO's and Joint Directors. He also demanded running pattern in favor of lecturers, enhancing grade pay of principals, non vocational status in favor of principals and filling of vacant posts of lecturers and filling of vacant 1400 posts of the lecturers in the district.
Rakesh Sharma, general secretary, senior vice president Dr. Shiraz Ahmed, Fazal Hussain, Kernail Singh, Tesil presidents Riaz Malik, Sudesh Kumar, Swarn Singh, Zahid Malik and Kewal Krishan also spoke in this meeting. |
