Jammu, Jan 13: The National Secular Forum (NSF) today protested against the administration of Central University of Jammu (CUJ) for its failure to start construction work on the campus, besides appointment of incompetent/ overage officers on key positions in the administration. Led by Qayoom Malik University President NSF, activists amid slogans against the Jammu based politicians and leaders alleged they have failed to raise the issue and are maintaining stoic silence over the entire matter. President NSF criticized the working of Central University Vice-Chancellor and other authorities at the helms of affairs who are allegedly absorbing their kiths and kins in the campus and the system lacked the accountability of functioning of Central University Jammu. University President NSF said it was shocking that the Vice-Chancellor has appointed Professor N.R.Sharma as first Dean Students Welfare (DSW) of the varsity who has been over-aged retired professor. Malik further said the varsity has become a rehabilitation center for retired and corrupt officials. He said Chancellor should take serious note of it and the former-OSD should be removed immediately to restore the credibility of this prestigious institution. NSF leaders said NSF will continue its struggle for the social cause and appealed the people of the state to come forward and exposed the corrupt person in CUJ.
