| State functionaries restrained from interfering affairs of Shri Bawa Jitto Shrine | | | Jammu, Jan 13: In a petition filed by Vaishno Dutt and others claimant managing the affairs of Asthan Bawa Jitto Shrine Kalyanpur Jhiri alleging interfering affairs of Shri Bawa Jitto Shrine by state functionaries, the Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Jammu Wing issued notice to the respondents returnable within four weeks and directed functionaries of the state to restrained from interfering into affairs the Shrine Bawa Jitto.
Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Jammu Wing Justice BL Bhat after hearing Adv Abhinav Sharma appearing for the petitioners issued notice to the respondents returnable within four weeks and in the meanwhile respondents and functionaries of the state are restrained from interfering into the enjoyment of possession of the petitioners over the premises of the Shrine Bawa Jitto, holding meetings in the premises of the Shrine and are restrained from user of the land and directed Divisional Commissioner Jammu that he shall get the order implemented and report compliance.
The petitioners have alleged violation of the interim direction passed by the High Court on December 12, 2013 where by State High Court stayed the operation of Govt order No 413-TSM of 2013 dated October 4, 2013 whereby sanction was accorded for constitution of a Board namely "Shri Bawa Jittoo Mal" for purposes of management, administration and Governing the affairs of Shri Bawa Jittoo Mal" Shrine at Jhiri Block Marh Tehsil Jammu.
