Jammu, Jan 13: Shri Guru Gangdev Ji (SGGJ) Model Senior Secondary School Shiv Kashi Sunder Bani today organized 'Mathematics Quiz Competition' at school premises. OP Sharma, Retd. Principal was the Chief Guest and Poonam Sharma was the guest of honour on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, OP Sharma threw light on the competition and explained the importance of competitions. It is right step to imparting mathematics knowledge among the students. Jagdish Sudan while appreciating all the participants and said that this type of competition creates interest among the students as they learn many things by through methods.
He further said that there were ten teams who participated in Quiz competition and Team Brain Power declared winner of the competition. Team's name and scores as per detail:-Captain Cool (40) , Green Star(90), Rainbow(100), Brain Power(105), Sky Blue(60), Mind Power(80), Red Star(55), Yellow Star(70), Pink City(60) and Super Mind (55). In the final, Team Brain Power beat Team Rainbow by five points. |
