Jammu, Jan 13: J&K People's Democratic Trade Union (PDTU) District President, Jasmeet Singh Madaan today urged the Govt. to cover all sections of employees under Mediclaim Group policy instead of Gazetted employees only. "All employees are equal in matters of rights' before the Govt. and by covering the Gazetted cadres only under Mediclaim policy, Govt. has acted in a partisan manner, said Jasmeet. By including only Gazetted cadres into the mediclaim policy, Jasmeet asked what government want to tell common masses if only Gazetted officers and their families fall ill and others (non-gazetted) cadre and their families don't?. PDTU leader said, the PDTU will strive to include all non-gazetted even the Class IV and PSU's employees into the Group Mediclaim policy and even threatened to wage a stir if the demand is not conceded to. |
