Jammu, Jan 28: R M College of Education today organized an Inter College Symposium, Slogan Writing and Poster making competition in collaboration with IOCL and AXIS Bank Chowadhi.
Member of Legislative Council Vijay Bakaya was the chief guest of the function, while Girish Ranjan Senior Divisional Manager Indian Oil Corporation Ltd SK Jain (President Vichar Kranti Manch) and Vinay Saini Manager AXIS Bank were the Guests of honour.
Dr. Sarfaraz Asgher (Dept of Geography, University of Jammu), Parimal Kumar Manager IOCL and Trustee Rita Mengi adjudged the competition. Principal PK Dhar, Distinguished Guests, Principals and faculty members of other colleges along with the delegates and the students were also present on the occasion.
The function started with lighting of the traditional lamp. The college students presented a Saraswati Vandana followed by welcome address by Principal PK Dhar. In his address, principal of the college elaborate the main purpose of organizing this inter college symposium, especially on the burning topics like petroleum conservation.
The three parallel competition were held in the college complex. The poster making on the theme "SAVE OIL YANI SAVE MONEY" was held in the college ground, where in eleven different college from Jammu participated. Slogan writing competition was held on the same theme in the room No. 13 of college building, while Symposium was held in the college auditorium in which 21 colleges participated. |
