Jammu, Jan 28 : All Jammu and Kashmir Stationery and Office Supplies Department Employees Association (AJK SOSDEA) today held a meeting under the presidium of Babu Hussain Malik, Seva Ram, Uday Singh, Jaswant Singh, SS Pathania, Shavinder Kumar and Dharmveer Singh. According to press release , association president Babu Hussain Malik appealed to Omar Abdullah that the demands of employees of J&K stationery and office supplies department due to which the working of department was suffering a lot and the future of employees was hanging in dark. They demanded that the opening of stationery deots in newly created eight districts of state, amendment of SRO- 365, reorganization of department by combining the seniority of all employees to remove the fiction and stagnation among the clerical cadre employees of the department, enhancement of retirement age from 58-60 years, enhancement of medical allowance from Rs. 300 to Rs. 1000per month, regularization of daily wages/ contractual/ adhoc and daily rated workers. They further urged the state government to release the pending DA installment at earliest as the rates of common commodities were rising day by day and it was becoming difficult for the common employees to bear the burden of inflation. |
