| 3 road accident victims succumb to fatal injuries | | |

Jammu, Jan 28 : Three road accident victims injured in different places on the other days undergoing medical treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) succumbed today to their fatal injuries.
Police said that a man identified as Ravi Kumar son of Ghan Shyam of Akhnoor who was found unconscious on road side at Akhnoor on January 27 succumbed today at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H). Police said that it seems that the deceased might be hit by an unidentified vehicle.
Meanwhile, a 66 year-old man namely Krishna son of Dina Nath of Samba injured after being hit by a scooter on Jan 21, presently undergoing treatment at GMC&H succumbed today to his injuries.
Yet in similar case, a woman identified namely as Rajni Bharti (29) wife of Pawan Kumar of Eid Gah road who received injuries during a road mishap on January 26 succumbed today.
Police sources said after legal formalities, all the bodies have been handed over to claimants for last rites while respective cases in this connection already stand registered at concerned police stations. |
