Jammu, Feb 1: Continuing the Party's move to strengthen its base level in Jammu with the joining of members, Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) under the supervision of SDP Parliamentary Candidate for Poonch-Jammu Constituency Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher today during a membership drive said that people of state want change in politics of the state. During this drive more than 100 prominent citizens, including youth of Beli-Cherana, Sainik Colony, Nanak Nagar, Digiana and Gandhinagar area came into party fold. Appreciating the decision of new entrants, Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher said that joining of youth in large number signifies that people in the state, especially Jammu are craving for change. "After every two days more than 100 political activists and youth join SDP which indicates that people are fed up with the contemporary politics in the state," he said. He further added that joining of people in such number boosts morale of the party. "We are sure that with the support of people, we are going to make a leading political force in the state," Gursagar Singh said. He also appealed to all like-minded people to come forward in support of the change which SDP is striving to bring in the state. Among the new entrants, Parveen Kumar, Raj Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Chaman Lal, Sajan Sharma, Vinal Baba, Sunny, Amardeep Singh, Karmesh Vishist , Sumit Kak and others came into party fold with the influence of Gagan Deep Singh of Nanak Nagar, who had earlier joined SDP. |
