| JCO thrashes PRO of Dy CM | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 4: Police arrested a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) Army after he allegedly assaulted Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Dy CM at Kachrail area falling under the jurisdiction of Khour police station.
Police sources said that the incident took place when Kewal Sharma, PRO of DyCM along with supporters of Dy CM were celebrating formation of new administrative at Kachrail area.
During the celebrations, Satpal, havaldar of 11 JAKLI who is presently posted in Pallanwala had arguments with PRO Kewal following which a scuffle broke out and Satpal thrashed PRO.
After the incident Satpal managed to escape from the spot.
Later, after getting the complaint team headed by Inspector Surinder Raina, SHO Khour under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Farooq Qaiser swung into action and arrested Satl. A case in this connection has been registered under FIR9/14 under sections 452 and 353 of RPC at Khour police station and further investigation is on. |
