| Food , Hospitality better than Kolkata congress | | Indian science congress 2014 | | Sandeep Bhat
Jammu, Feb 4: The 101st Indian Science Congress entered into second day today with more than eight thousand delegates participating in different events held in Jammu. Apart from having difficulties in registration on the inaugural day, other arrangements for the event like food, hospitality, accommodation seems gone well with the participating delegates who have come here from different parts of country and aboard.
Talking to early times , Saroj Ranjan Likna a teacher by profession from Puri (Orissa) said that he is attending the science congress for the second time and apart from accommodation other facilities were upto the mark and far better than the science congress held at Kolkata in 2013. Her further said that coming to this state of Jammu and Kashmir was a dream come true. I faced some difficulties in finding accommodation and hope that it will be over with the passage of time.
Ajay Rathee from DRDO said that he is mesmerised with the arrangements done by the officials of the Jammu University and for providing quality food apart from accommodation and hospitality. I attented Science congress in Kolkata also but this facility in Jammu is of high standard. Before coming to this place i never expected such a treatment that too in Jammu.
Manuranjan From Manipur said that the quality of food and the food court itself is of high standard. The Menu of breakfast , Lunch and dinner is never repeated and keep on changing from day to day. The arrangements are fantastic and better than what we had in Kolkata in 2013. There was huge rush and people use to overlap each other for taking food in Kolkata. He further added that Indian science congress should choose jammu university again for the conduct of such a mega event in future.
Ramesh T from Tamil Nadu also praised for the accommodation and hospitality provided by the Jammu university to the visiting delegates who came from all over the country and aboard like Canada , Bulgaria, Russia , Japan , USA , Sweden and many others . He further said that he belongs to the southern part of the country but in Jammu he feel like at home.
Aparna from Jharkhand said that this is my first visit to city of temple and am attending the science Congress second time after attending the science congress in Kolkata. Jammu is far better than Kolkata in terms of food hospitality and security arrangements.
Mushtaq Dar from Anantnag Kashmir, an innovator said that he was mesmerised seeing such a large number of delegates coming to our state and participating in mega event like Indian science congress is an historical event. This give a message to outer world that state of Jammu and Kashmir is peaceful place and can held any international events. |
