KISHTWAR, Feb 4: Two days after Congress Sarpanches and other prominent figures of Chilly and its adjoining areas hailing from home village of Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad were up in arms against the MLA Bhaderwah Mohammad Sharief Naiz for his failure in representing the aspiration of majority of people of Chilly during Cabinet Sub Committee in which the far flung and deserving area of the Chilly was deprived from Tehsil as well as the block status, Senior leader and Congress MLA from Bhaderwah Mohammad Sharief Niaz today threatened to resign over the issue of denial of Naibat and Block status to Chilly and Pingal of Bhalessa. While addressing a hurdle press conference at his residence said the he had approached state government for some correction in the Cabinet Sub Committee report related to Bhalessa which was surfaced due some clerical mistakes. He said that copies of representation have also been submitted to State government which assured him that they will direct the administration for clerical correction in shortest possible time. The MLA said that during representation to CSC few months ago , he had recommended Chilly as CD block along with Naibat and Pingal as block with head quarter at Jakyas but added that due to some clerical mistake and approved Chilly area as CD block with Tendala and also informed there is Chilly as Naibat but had mistakenly written it as Silly . "I assured all people of Bhalessa that if I failed to correct the mistake, beside CD block will not be given to Chilly independently along with Naibat and Pingal will not be attached with Jakyas block--- I will resigned from MLA ship" Said Naiz. He said that also approached to CSC for correction of clerical mistake but added that CSC has expressed their inability to correct it sighting the reason that the same has been dissolved after cabinet approved CSC report. "If administration failed to correct clerical mistake related to Chilly and Pingal , then I will left with no other option but to resign from the MLA seat in the interest of public of Bhalessa" said Congress MLA from Bhaderwah. State government after CSC on creation of new administrative units submitted its report on February 1, 2014 approved the creation of 659 administrative units which includes 46 Sub Divisions, 135 Tehsil, 177 CD blocks, 301 Niabats, beside the recommendation of Patwar Halqas for each Panchayat. The move will also help the state government to create 10521 posts required for these new units including 358 gazetted cadre and 10163 in non gazetted cadre. It is pertinent to mention that President Sarpanch Association Bhellesa Sheikh Manier Ahmed along with several prominent figure of the area including Ali Mohammad , Nazir Ahmed Kichloo , Abdul Majeed Butt , Hajji Mohammad Iqbal , Musrat Hussain , Shah Din Malik, Mushtaq Malik during a press conference at Jammu on Sunday threaten to launch an agitation in case the government fails to address the public concern and choose a suitable place which will be centrally located as the headquarter of the newly announced Tehsil. All leaders alleged that instead of making Tehsil in centrally located place for Chilly, CSC without taking care geographical demography of Chilly-Pengal area into consideration declared tehsil headquarter at Tendla which is more far off from Gundoh headquarter, beside demanded block and Naibat status for Chilly.
