Jandrah protest turns violent, SHO injured 2/9/2014 11:27:49 PM Et Report Udhampur, Feb 9: The protest, demanding sub-divisional status for Jandrah, today turned violent after the protestors started march towards Jammu during which Station House Officer (SHO) Majalta received minor injuries. As per reports, the residents have strong resentment for giving of tehsil status to Dansal and ignoring Jandrah. The protestors from Manwal gathered near Jandrah and started marching towards Jammu demanding sub-divisional status to Jandrah following which the vehicular traffic was disrupted for some time. Police used little force after some time cleared the road. During this SHO Majalta Sanjeev Sharma received minor injuries.
