Tempo traveler turn turtle, miraculous escape for 16 passengers 2/11/2014 11:34:44 PM Kishtwar: At least 16 passengers had a miraculous escape when a tempo traveler in which they were traveling turns turtle near Hasti on Kishtwar-Jammu National Highway. As per the details available with " Early Times" the Tempo traveler bearing No. JK 02V- 7025 on way from Kishtwar to Doda meet with an accident near Hasti resulted into injury to two person while 14 other escaped unhurt or received minor bruises. After hearing about the news of accident, Dy. SP HQ Kishtwar Nazir Ahmed Ganie and SHO police station Kishtwar Sameer Jeelani rush to the spot and shifted the injured to District Hospital Kishtwar in the vehicle of local Sarpanch. The two injured brought to District Hospital Kishtwar were identified by the police as Abdul Gani Butt (50 yrs) son of Ghulam Mohammad Butt resident of Bulandpur Assar and his daughter Shokena Banoo (17 yrs). Shokena was however discharge immediately after availing first aid treatment. The injured Ghulam Mohammad informed the police that the vehicle was over speedy and added that while negotiating the vehicle coming in opposite direction as a result of which the vehicle hit with a boulder.
