| DyCM hailed for regularizing 3700 EVs, other initiatives | | | Jammu: J&K Teacher's Welfare Association today convened a meeting of its executive members under the chairmanship of Mohinder Sharma, Chairman, J&K TWA in which participating members hailed Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand, Commissioner Secretary, Hridesh Kumar Singh, Director, School Education Tushar Kanti Sharma and other concerned for fulfilling the long pending demand raised by association. During the meeting speakers termed the regularization of over 3700 Education Volunteers ( EVs) as General Line Teachers and promotion of nearly 1000 teachers into Master's Grade as historic step. Jasmeet Singh Madaan, President, J&K Teacher's Welfare Association hailed the initiatives taken by Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand, Commissioner Secretary, Hridesh Kumar Singh, Director, School Education Tushar Kanti Sharma and CEO Jammu Tarsem Lal and all the subordinate officers in fulfilling the long pending demand raised by TWA time to time for the betterment of teaching fraternity. Jasmeet further demanded the early release of Water Carriers regularization list which is pending in DSE Jammu since long as the hapless Water Carriers are doing their duties since the long 20 years on the meager honorarium in Education Department with the hope that they will also be made regularized like other cadres. Other demands highlighted during the meeting included the Teacher's Bhawan for each district, Teacher's Club, Teacher's Colony and etc. |
