Cong advt campaign should say "Har Saath Congress Ke Baad"

Et Report
Jammu, Feb 11: The Congress election advertisement campaign of over Rs. 100 crore is finding space at places where it is most unlikely to create a favourable vote bank for the party. "Har Haath Congress Ke Sath" is one of the many such slogans the Congress has chosen to garner support for the party during the forthcoming 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
The Congress has always remained a dynasty specific and dynasty centric party. Instead of starting an ambitious ad campaign to garner support for the party as such, the party would have done well to highlight the plus points of the leaders of Nehru-Gandhi Parivar.
It is a well known fact that the party has not been able to gather the courage to declare its star campaigner and Vice President Rahul Gandhi as its Prime Ministerial candidate. The sole reason the party has not been naming Rahul Gandhi as its Prime Ministerial candidate is that the party cannot afford to have Rahul Gandhi known as a defeated Prime Ministerial candidate. Since Prime Minister Mannohan Singh has already announced he would not be in race for the future Prime Minister of the country the defeat of an already outgoing Prime Minister who has given up his claim on the top job would not matter. The strategy chalked out by the Congress is clear. Knowing well it would not be able to form the next government in the country, the Congress has decided to reserve its star campaigner as the dark horse who would be put up as the Prime Ministerial candidate after the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. The Congress hopes the next government which in all likelihood would not have Congress in the power alliance, might not last its full five year term in the office. That is believed to be the right time when the Congress can project Rahul Gandhi as the future Prime Minister of the country. The present over 100 crore campaign is actually meant to be a doled out favour to friends in the media to create goodwill in the media for the future. The ad campaign is therefore not people specific but t is clearly media specific."Har Haath Congress Ke Saath" should actually have been "Har Saath Congress Ke Baad'.
