JAMMU, Feb 21: The violation of transfer policy is going on unabated in Finance department as 17 officials are presently overstaying at various posts in several Government departments.
Sources informed Early Times that as per transfer policy of State Government, the minimum stay on a particular post should not be less than 2 years and not more than 3 years, but several others are holding the posts for more than three years, due to the reasons best known to concerned authorities.
As per documents in possession of Early Times the 17 overstaying officers include Mazher Hussain Special Assistant to Minister of State for Power, who is on the post for the last more than 4 years that is since August, 2009. Director Accounts and Treasuries Jammu, Mohammad Aslam Malik is on the chair for the last more than 4 years that is since October, 1, 2009, while as Deputy Director Resources and CAO of Finance department Showkat Hussian Mir is holding the post since more than 4 years that is, October, 1, 2009.
Moreover, Reyaz Hussian, Chief Account Officer, Directorate of Consumers Affairs and Public Distribution department Jammu is on the post since 27-10-2010, while Narsingh Dass, Chief Account Officer, District Fund Office Doda is on the post since January 24, 2010. Moreover, Chander Kala Chief Pay and AO Sewa Hydel Project Power Development Corporation is on the post since 27-07-2010, besides Monika Hans, Chief Accounts Officer District Rural Development Agency Jammu is on the post since 11-02-2010.
Pawan Kumar Chief Accounts Officer, State Accountability Commission, Gulam Mohi-ud-Din AO, GP Fund Police Cell Srinagar and Ali Mohammad Dar, AO Directorate of Audit and Inspection, all are on the posts since 22-02-2011. Mohammad Ayoub Kuchey AO, Directorate General of Accounts and Treasuries J&K is on the post since 30-04-2010 while Faroqa Akhter AO, Local Fund Audit and Pensions Srinagar is on the post since 4-06-2010 besides Parvez Ahmad Bhat AO, Chief Engineer, Systems and Operations Srinagar is on the post since 4-12-2010.
AO Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries Jammu, Badan Singh Jamwal is on the post since January 28, 2011, while Nusrat Anjum AO, Directorate of Audit and Inspections J&K, is on the post since 4-06-2010, besides Noor Mohammad Sofi, AO Additional Treasury Officer Additional, Treasury Tankipora is on the post since 27-07-2010. Gulam Hassan Hajam AO, Additional Treasury Officer, Saddar Treasury Srinagar is on the post since January, 28, 2011. |
