Jammu, Feb 22: Convener of Joint Consultative Committee and President Civil Secretariat Non-Gazetted Employees Union, (CSNGEU) Rouf Ahmed Bhat today hailed the announcement made by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on floor of House regarding demands of employees. According to statement, Rouf Ahmed Bhat said that the announcement made by Chief Minister regarding withdrawal of cases against employee leaders and conceding of other demands of employees was a welcoming step. He further said that it was the result of long struggle of employees, who compelled the government to concede their long pending demands. "As per announcement of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, one demand will be addressed within no time while all other demands in a phased manner, which is a welcoming step", he said. He also hailed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, for paying heed to employees, who were protesting for their demands for last many years. "On behalf of 4.5 Lakh employees of state, our union is thankful to Chief Minister and also to the united struggle launched from time to time by employees", he said. |
