Jammu, Feb 22: NSS unit of Government College for Women Udhampur today orgainized a symposium on 'National Campaign for National Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Week', here at College premises. According to press release, Dr. Youdhvir Singh, principal Government College for Women Udhampur was the chief guest, in which the presiding addresses he emphasized the importance of water in sustaining life and advised students to make a judicious use of water as it is the resource which is soon depleting. He also stressed the significance of maintaining health and hygine in our surrounding for healthy living and the use of safe and clean drinking water as a right and not as a privilege. The symposium culminated with the vote of thanks by Professor Swarna Bhougal, NSS programme officer GCW Udhampur. |
