Rajouri Mar 9: Senior PDP leader Shahzad Khan has strongly condemned the present coalition government for its failure to curb corruption and address youth issues during his meeting with the workers in view of the forthcoming elections. In a press release issued here Shahzad Khan said that the present coalition government has not given any relief or policy and programmes to address the youth issues. He said that the only thing that has been given to the people is only corruption. Shahzad said that there are no employment avenues for the youth and the number of unemployed youth is swelling day by day. The youth are highly disenchanted and demoralized but the government is least bothered despite the fact that it had promised employment of at least one youth in each household. There are neither any youth policies nor any youth oriented steps taken to address their issues. He said that the state of infrastructure including roads, electricity, educational institutions, health sector et al is in shambles. The progressive rural as well as urban developmental programmes started by the centre including the Bharat Nirman and other flagship programmes have not been carried out properly and hence rendered defunct.
