| House wife receives burn injuries in stove blast | | |
Kishtwar Mar 9: 33 year old house wife identified by the police as Meena Devi wife of Satish Kumar Baghat resident of Shana Thakrie received 70% burn injuries due to a kerosene oil stove blast.
As per the details, the injured house wife was cooking meal when the incident took place in which her husband Satish Kumar (35 yrs) son of Om Nath also received minor burn injuries while their minor daughter escaped unhurt.
After hearing the hue and cry, the local villagers and the family members rushed to the spot and shifted the injured lady and her husband to District Hospital Kishtwar from where the critically injured lady with almost 70 % burn injuries was shifted to Government Medical College Jammu for advance treatment.
Senior police officers also rushed to hospital and recorded the statement of the injured lady in presence of the local magistrate. The victim in her statement termed the incident as accidental and not a conspiracy. |
