Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 9 : The BJP today said the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls and Assembly polls will 'decimate' Congress, National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party and will vote BJP to power.
"The politically conscious Indian electorate this time will 'decimate' fake secular outfits like the Congress, the NC and the PDP and vote to power the BJP-led NDA government under the inspiring, effective and skillful leadership of Narendra Modi," Prof Hari Om, Political Advisor to State BJP President Jugal Kishore Sharma here told reporters.
He however, also endorsed the National Conference Working President and Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's recent statement that the upcoming elections would be a clash of ideologies and battle between secular and communal forces. How could a party that flirts with separatists, bats for pro-Pakistan Kashmiri students, describes the Indian Constitution and Indian laws and institutions as anti-Kashmir, undermines the institution of Army and denounces anti-terror laws as draconian claim that it is a secular outfit?, he asked, and advised him and others of his ilk not to give any opportunity to the people to ridicule them by speaking something they hate and despise in their heart of hearts.
The BJP leader pooh-poohed the claim of Mr Abdullah that the NC and the Congressare secular outfits and said, "these and similar other fake secular outfits have only vitiated the country's political environment, pitted one section of society against another, created bitterness between the communities and social groups and hampered the processes of national integration and economic growth". "The upcoming crucial and nation-making election will be between those who stand forIndia and its all-round development and socio-economic and political regeneration of the hoodwinked, badly let down and humiliated Indians and those who survive and thrive on divisive ideology and blood and sweat of the poor and those who have only brought a bad name to the country," he addd. He said, "the NC, ably backed by the Congress and other outfits professing regressive and divisive ideologies, has been promoting communalism and fissiparous tendencies in Kashmir ever since its inception".
Prof Hari Om further rubbished the claim of the Chief Minister that the state under his regime has achieved tremendous progress and that the people of the state are verysatisfied with the performance of the NC-Congress coalition government.
