Jammu, Mar 11: Pahari community got nothing except false promises and discrimination. Madan Lal Sharma has also injured the sentiments of Pahari speaking people of Peer Panchhal region. Pahari people voted & supported Madan Lal in previous two elections & and have decided to defeat him in coming election
Advocate Rajinder Mehta spokesman JKPPM & Shahbaz Khan chief executive said that 90% Pahari people of Rajouri-Poonch in last two election fully supported Madan Lal who promised with community that he will fully support to get the demand of ST status fulfilled but he has cheated the entire Pahari community with false promise and Pahari community have decided to teach him lesson in coming Election.
Adv Mehta and Shahbaz Khan while addressing the Pahari people at Kalakote said that they have decided to launch a campaign in all over the state against Congress candidature & defeat them
Shahbaz Khan said that it was in 1989,when Cabinet passed a resolution with full majority for granting ST status to communities on the bases of there backwardness & being resident of border areas, but at that time Congress leadership with there dirty politics & criminal conspiracy against Pahari speaking people, dropped Paharies from serial No 1 & 7 all other six communities were granted ST status.
Khan said that Pahari community is more than 25 lakh in all over the state & only more than six lakh in Peer Panchal region who voted & supported Madan Lal Sharma in both previous election with his commitment to get ST status for Paharies. but he and his party injured the sentiment's of Pahari Community of the State & the time has come that we will show him power of our vote by defeating him in coming Election Paharies have also decided to defeat almost all the candidate's of the Congress in the State.
It is pertinent to mention here that J&K High Court in 2007 also recommended to the center Govt. to grant S.T. Status to Pahari Community without any further delay. But unfortunately it is matter of shame on the part of a democratic country that almost ball the Prime Ministers /all the Chief Ministers /all the Governors Even President of India also strongly projected and principally agreed to grant S.T Status to the Pahari community even then Pahari Community Is Ignored and discriminated in all the fields. Member State Pahari Advisory Board and Chairman Pahari action Committee Kramat Malik said that it is in the interest of Center and State Govt. to provide S,T Status to the community without any further delay otherwise the most dejected and rejected Pahari youths can be misused or misled by the anti national and anti social elements. |
