JAMMU, Mar 11: In order to popularize adventure activities in general and mountaineering in particular in Jammu and Kashmir, Tawi Trekkers, shall depute young boys and girls for the Basic Course in Mountaineering at Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports, Pahalgam during April-June.
"The candidates who successfully complete the 26-day Basic Course shall later be deputed for Advance Course in Mountaineering so that they become eligible for participation in national mountaineering expeditions, organized by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation, New Delhi," informed general secretary of the Tawi Trekkers, Ram Khajuria.
