Jammu, Mar 11 (JNF): In a much publicized Public Interest Litigation seeking prosecution sanction of IAS/IPS/KAS, for providing prosecuting agency and other infrastructure to the seven Additional Anticorruption Court, Division Bench of State High Court today issued notice to Chief Secretary J&K, Chief Minister of J&K and ors which were accepted by Sr. AAG Gagan Basotra and directed him to file reply within one week. In response to an application seeking directions to State for providing prosecuting agency and other infrastructure to the seven Additional Anticorruption Court in District Udhampur, Kathua, Doda, Rajouri, Anantnag, Pulwama and Baramulla which were empowered to hear corruption cases, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar today after hearing Adv SS Ahmed appearing for the PIL issued notice to Chief Secretary J&K, Chief Minister of J&K and ors which were accepted by Sr. AAG Gagan Basotra and directed him to file reply within one week. On the request of counsel for the PIL, Division Bench added State Vigilance Commission through its registrar as respondent and issued notice to him and directs him to file status report with regard to vacancy position and any step taken in that direction. |
