Less than 48 hours after Early Times carried a report on gross violation of Model Code of Conduct by the Minister for Housing and Horticulture Raman Bhalla by raising huge hoardings of development projects undertaken by him as Minister and the MLA of the Gandhi Nagar constituency, the said hoardings have been removed.
ET had reported that the giant hoarding that carried huge picture of the Minister also displayed the cost of the project, suggesting to give entire credit of the project to the Minister. Further, the hoarding was raised near a school which hosts a polling booth during the elections.
Pertinently, besides the violation of MCC by the sitting Minister, ET had also brought to the fore large scale transfers of teachers in the Education Department through post dated orders which were later kept in abeyance by the competent authority.
