Masses confused due to political mongering: HRW

Jammu, Mar 18: J&K Human Rights Watch (HRW), J&K, has said that at present time when Lok Sabha Elections are under the process, the general public is confused due to the several propaganda /statements pouring from vested interest individuals under vote bank politics. In a statement issued here today, the State Chairman J&K Human Rights Watch, B L Kapoor said that at present time when Lok Sabha Elections are under the process, the general public is confused due to the several propaganda /statements from the vested interest people for the purpose of vote bank. He appealed the authorities to keep vigil on such people who spread false rumours against the government or others so that the law and order situation may be stabled and the fair elections could be done. Referring the statements of Human Rights activists either true or false, Kapoor said that it is the duty of the intelligence to verify the person who is stating something whether registered with the government under the law of the land or not otherwise such self styled activists stand for no merit consideration.
