| Two commit suicide in Jammu region | | | Early Times Report
jammu, Mar 18: Two women allegedly committed suicide in different incidents reported from across Jammu region within last 24 hours.
Police sources said that a girl allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance mysteriously at her residence in Vijaypur area. "The deceased has been identified as Neha Sharma Daughter of Ashwani, a resident of Birpur. Police sources said further adding, "she consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.'
"On noticing her unconscious, her family members shifted her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H), where during treatment she failed succumbed to the fatality of the poison, police said.
In similar incident a married woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself with hook of a ceiling fan under mysterious circumstances at her residence in Krishna Nagar. "Identity of the deceased has been established as Mamta wife of Yog Raj (28) resident of Krishna Nagar, police said.
After noticing her hanging, family members of the deceased immediately took her to GMC&H where she was pronounced as brought dead. |
